We are a family studio established out of passion to create and live close to nature.
Our dolls are inspired by the philosophy and school of Waldorf dolls that were toys made of natural materials, filled with sheep's fleece. Rudolf Steiner, an Austrian philosopher and teacher, who lived at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries contributed creation of the doll. He promoted simple and natural toys that had a positive influence on a child’s imagination and senses.
According to his philosophy, a doll is the most important toy a child will get.
The Art and Doll is a hand-sewn organic cotton rag doll for girls and boys, which was created in order to break stereotypes regarding both gender, age, skin colour and fitness level.
Each of our dolls resembles a child and, thus, it becomes a role model for a small user.
As all the dolls are made by my hands and designed with the future owner in mind, they are filled with my best emotions for you.
Ps: I sleep too long and I love having coffee with milk in large mugs!
